Here’s how you play defense…featuring Paul George, Larry Sanders, Kenneth Faried, and Jeff Green

Paul George dominates the Knicks in early January.  Without Felton, the Knicks offense was Kidd-heavy, which meant it was awful.  Paul George is the best wing defender in the NBA.  This video shows you how.  I can’t wait for him to match-up with LeBron or Carmelo in the playoffs.

Larry Sanders’ agent needs 3 minutes and 44 seconds to convince the NBA how much Sanders is worth.  A triple-double with 10 blocks.  That changes a game slightly.  He’s also a really interesting and thoughtful guy.  Check out this Q&A:  http://www.sbnation.com/2013/1/14/3874274/larry-sanders-profile-milwaukee-bucks-2012

Kenneth Faried likes rebounds.  Kenneth Faried is relentless, determined, awesome.  Kenneth Faried is progressive.  Here’s a link to a video he shot with his two moms in support of gay marriage: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/26/kenneth-faried-denver-nuggets-gay-marriage-two-moms_n_2552462.html.

Jeff Green pulled off one of the more memorable and athletic two-possession sequences I’ve ever seen.  The block was LeBron-esque, in that he came out of nowhere and timed the leap perfectly.  That it came against the Lakers with the crowd going berserk makes it that much sweeter.  He’s also overcome heart surgery, which kept him out during the 2011-12 season.  Here’s that interview:

Now here’s Jeff Green displaying his skills, passion and impact, especially when he’s in the open court.
